2012 WINTER BEER FEST
The Washington Beer Commission’s 2012 Winter Beer Festival will showcase a variety of winter seasonals from 32 Washington breweries. Once again, this year’s lineup will include dark malty stouts, robust winter warmers, barrel-aged gems and many more. In addition, there will be chocolate pairings courtesy of Theo Chocolate, fine pub cuisine by Hales Brewpub, fresh oysters from Taylor Shellfish Farms and a holiday gift shop.

Admission and token sales will end 45 minutes before the end of each session and taps will close 15 minutes before the end of the event.

People’s Choice Awards: 
Vote for your favorite beers! The People’s Choice Award winners will be selected by you during each day of the event.

Chocolate:
The Winter Beer Festival is proud to partner with Theo Chocolate  to present another delectable way to enjoy beer and enhance your tasting experience by pairing beer and chocolate.

Food:
Hale’s Ales Brewery & Pub will serve up fine pub cuisine straight from its kitchen to complement the bold flavors of the winter beers. Taylor Shellfish Farms will offer fresh oysters to pair with your favorite beers. 

Holiday Gift Shop:
The Holiday Gift Shop will offer brewery and festival
merchandise so you can take care of holiday shopping while
enjoying fabulous beer! Give a Winter Beer Fest t-shirt, pint glasses
from your favorite brewery, or WABL membership as a gift this holiday season!

Ol’ MallWABLer from the Northgate RAM Restaurant & Brewery

Description: 
Ol’ MallWABLer – 9.5% ABV – A blend of 2009, 2010, 2011 Mallwalkers aged in a freshly emptied Dry Fly Whiskey barrel and served on Nitro. This WABL exclusive beer features a smooth & decadent malt profile with flavors of vanilla, bourbon, oak and caramel, topped with a creamy white head. 

Volunteer
We are once again seeking a number of volunteers to help out with this year’s event. We currently have the following shifts open. 

Friday, December 7th
2) 4:45pm-9:00pm
Saturday, December 8th
1) 11:45am-4:30pm
2) 4:15 PM- 9:00 pm
If you are interested in volunteering during one of these shifts, please email matt@washingtonbeer.com with your availability. Volunteers will be assisting with a variety of jobs including, admission, merchandise and possibly pouring beer. Volunteers receive admission to the event after their shift. If you volunteer for the Saturday, 4:15pm shift, you’ll be able to attend on Friday night. Thanks again for your interest in volunteering.
