Belltown Brewing now making beer on site

Back in March we told you about Belltown Brewing, which opened last spring at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Bell Street in downtown Seattle. Read our previous story. At that time, Adam Frantz was brewing the beer off premises at American Brewing in Edmonds. You could drink his beer, but it wasn't made in house. A few weeks ago that changed. Belltown Brewing is now up and running.
Adam is now releasing house-brewed beers on an almost weekly schedule. Here's what they're pouring right now.
Bellfounder Pumpkin Porter
7% ABV, 36 IBU
Adam recently teamed up with Crucible Brewing’s Dick Mergens in Everett to create a fall collaboration beer. This flavorful, seasonal beer was brewed with 40lbs of sugar pie pumpkin pulp, put directly in during the mashing process, then finished with aromatic spices including cinnamon, ginger, and allspice to give the beer a tempting pumpkin pie flavor. The rich malt base is accentuated with the addition of lactose to add a touch of creaminess.
Bellfounder Pumpkin Porter is now on tap at Belltown Brewing in Seattle and Crucible Brewing in Everett while supplies last.
Belltown Coffee Brown
6% ABV, 35 IBU
Belltown Coffee Brown is back! A robust American brown ale is the base beer, hopped only with Columbus hops from Yakima Valley. It’s fermented on cold brewed coffee and served on nitro to add a creamy compliment. Blue Star Coffee Roasters in Twisp, WA provides the coffee beans for the fresh cold brewed coffee.
A brand new beer for the fall season; the Harvest Lager was inspired by the changing colors of the leaves around us. It is burnt orange in color with a beautiful white head. This malt forward creation is brewed with heavy doses of Munich and Rye malts, which give it a nice breadiness and spice character. It is 7% ABV to provide a touch of warmth as the weather gets colder, and is perfectly paired with a fall day in the Pacific Northwest. It will also make a great table beer for Thanksgiving.
Bell St Whete Raspberry
4.5% ABV, 13 IBU
Adam added 42 pounds of fresh raspberry puree to his Bell St. Wheat beer.
Coming soon: Vermont Slice of Pie
Vermont Slice of Pie is a pale ale brewed with 10 sugar pie pumpkins caramelized in house and added to the mash. Pumpkin pie spices are added to the boil, and maple syrup is added post fermentation.
