Bellingham's beloved Boundary Bay Brewery is celebrating its 21st anniversary with a block party. The street party takes place on Friday, September 16th. The event fits into the larger Bellingham Beer Week celebration (Sept 9th thru 18th).
Dubbed the 21st Birthday Block Party Extravaganza, the event will include lots of beer, live music, circus performers, food trucks, and more. And the "more" includes a 200-foot zip line.
Here are the details from the brewery:
Bellingham! Are you ready for the biggest and best Bellingham Beer Week celebration downtown has seen?! Join us on Friday, September 16th for Boundary Bay's 21st Birthday Block Party Extravaganza!
Families can head down to Railroad Ave to enjoy fun for the whole family from 4p.m. to 10p.m. This free community party will feature circus performers, carnival games, face painters and a video game theater. Lovers of ales will want to grab an event map as they enter the party to check out where the taps are flowing. With five locations around the brewery, you’ll want to plan out your beer journey as you choose between 21 styles on tap.
Live music on the garden stage by local funk favorite Baby Cakes at 6p.m. and Seattle’s afro-psycho-beat sensation, Polyrhythmics at 8p.m.
The Bistro will remain open for the celebration, along with our Fryday Fish Fry, Cicchitti's Pizza and Simmering Tava food trucks. Were you born on September 16th, 1995? Come share your birthday with us - we've got a ton of surprises for you!
