The Washington Beer Fresh Hop Festival will feature 25 local Washington breweries pouring a one of a kind fresh hop beer, plus other styles on October 8-9 and King County’s Marymoor Park. 

Covid-19 Safety Protocols

We are following all state and local health requirements and guidelines for large outdoor events. Our goal is to provide a safe event for all attendees, staff and volunteers by implementing the following protocols:

• All guests, staff and volunteers inside the festival must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19. Proof of vaccination can include your vaccination card, a printed copy of your vaccination card, or photo of your vaccination card on your phone. The name on the vaccination card must match the name on your state issued identification (driver’s license) or U.S. Passport. Any guest not providing proof of vaccination will be denied entry. 

• Masks are required at all outdoor events exceeding 500 people per King County Order. Protective masks must be worn at all times when not drinking/eating. Masks must cover both nose and mouth. 

Additional Onsite Safety Precautions:

• Event setup will include more open space to allow for more physical distancing of attendees. 

• Hand sanitizer will be available at each brewer station and additional hand washing stations have been added. 

• Single-use compostable tasting cups will be available at brewery pouring stations upon request. 

• Capacity controls and distancing of brewery pouring stations have been implemented to accommodate at least 6ft separation

If you are feeling ill or showing any symptoms of being sick, please stay home. 

If state or local health requirements change, we will adjust our admission requirements accordingly.

The Washington Beer Fresh Hop Festival will bring the heart of the Yakima valley’s hop country to the westside of the state featuring 25 breweries with each pouring at least one fresh hop ale along side other seasonal favorites. While drinking some of the freshest beer brewed, make sure to checkout the variety of food trucks on-site, along with a main stage featuring local music acts.

Volunteer!
The Washington Fresh Hop Festival is seeking a select number of volunteers to assist with the event throughout the weekend. Please email us with you first two shift choices. The following volunteer shifts are available:

Day 1    Friday, October 8, 2021

Shift 1   11:00am - 2:00pm

Shift 2   2:00pm - 5:00pm 

Day 2    Saturday, October 9, 2021

Shift 1   10:00am – 2:00pm

Shift 2   1:30pm - 5:00pm

Volunteers must be 21 years of age or older. Volunteers recieve complimentary admission after their shift. 

Volunteer jobs may vary depending on demand, but may include any of the following:  ticket admission, kids area, token stuffing or working at the merchandise/WABL table. If you’re interested in volunteering, please email us.
