Ten Herbert’s

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Cask Festival in 2009 ten different Washington breweries will brew ten different versions of the Herbert’s Legendary Cask Festival Ale. Herbert’s is a special beer that is brewed by a group of Washington brewers in memory of Bert Grant, to be served at the Cask Festival every year. The recipe has been passed on to one host brewery to the next over the years and the beer has been one of the major highlights of every Cask Festival.

All ten versions of the Herbert’s will be served during the Cask Festival on March 28th. In addition there will be a few opportunities to sample them prior to the festival.
